What we collect, why, and your rights — written in plain language on purpose.
On this website: aggregate, cookieless analytics (Vercel Web Analytics) — pages viewed, referrers, country. No advertising trackers, no cross-site cookies, no data brokers.
When you submit a form: the email address, company name, and note you type, plus the page and campaign source. It is delivered to us by email and an internal notification. We use it to reply to you. It is never sold or shared for marketing.
In the product: customers connect operational data (quotes, costs, invoices) under a signed agreement. That data is workspace-scoped to the customer, read-only by default, and never visible to any other customer. On termination it is returned or deleted. Only de-identified, aggregated cost and margin patterns — stripped of anything identifying you or your counterparties — improve our models. Details on the security page.
We use a small set of processors to run the service: Vercel (hosting, analytics), Neon (database), Clerk (authentication), Google Workspace (email), FormSubmit (form delivery), and Slack (internal notifications). Each receives only what its function requires.
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — under Québec's Law 25, GDPR, CCPA, or simply because you asked. Write to privacy@allometry.com and a human answers, usually same-day. The person responsible for data protection is Taylor Gendron.
Form submissions are kept while we have an active conversation and deleted on request. Analytics are aggregate and contain no personal identifiers. Customer data retention is governed by the customer agreement.
